ROBERT HERITAGE HAMILTON SIDEBOARD SOLD (229cm long X 76cm high X 51cm deep) - Award winning 'Hamilton' sideboard designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine in 1957. - Fully repolished, in excellent condition. - Stunning walnut grain pattern to doors, with the appearance of rosewood. Rich coloured top and end panels with good figure. Reeded solid wood drawers fronts, and brass handles. Robert Heritage was awarded Design Council 'Designs of the Year' in 1958, for the Hamilton sideboard. The design is a unique combination of reeded drawer fronts, trumpet brass handles, raised rear lip and elegant tapered legs, along with striking grain patterns to the large doors.
